Casavella is a four-storey house of medieval origin placed in the centre of the village of Vimbodí (Conca de Barberà) in Tarragona. Vimbodí is favoured with the presence of the Monastery of Poblet within its municipality.

On the ground floor, visitors will admire two stone arcades that have supported the building all over the centuries. The room shows some interesting agricultural implements.

On the first floor, we find the dining room together with an open kitchen and a toilet at the back. The original old stone sink has been preserved in a corner. The pieces of furniture are antique and the walls are decorated with the stones that once built a window and a balcony.

The second floor has place for two rooms. Both are furnished with chests of drawers and other restored pieces. A full-fitted bathroom is also on this floor. Its washbasin has been built using the stones of an old window.

The third floor is an open space consisting of a room and a terrace offering a fine view of the nearby pine groves, the Forest of Poblet, the Castle of Milmanda,… The stone wall along the stairs is the old original party wall.

The house has been fitted up with bed linen and towels. There are one shower, two toilets, a full-equipped kitchen, a fridge, two wood-burning stoves, some electric stoves, a TV and a washing machine.
